Founded by an artist and writer, Artlit specialises in expressing the often complex ideas of artists in a clear and accessible manner, allowing more people to connect with their work.
For individuals, our main service is writing custom artist statements and artist biographies, which can be used for their website, exhibition material, or residency proposals and grants. Our texts are tailored to the visual language of each artist and the stage of their career.
Galleries or culture institutions can also use our written material for exhibition statements, catalogues, and artists’ books.
